Sump Pump drainage problems Milton Ontario Canada
Hi there,
I have spent almost half a decade in the new homes in Milton Ontario Canada. The biggest issue I find with many homes is that their sump pump -or their neighbours- goes off all the time.
When the builder has left and the development has been 'assumed' by the town the grading around the property starts to settle and shift after a year or two. If the grading was not done properly the water sits in between the 2 houses and is recycled on a continuous basis in a loop. In other words the sump pump disperses the water and it eventually can wear a low point at the side of the house. This water can also lay against the side of the foundation on the house which can trap water in our freeze/thaw cycles here in Milton and apply enough pressure to crack and break away at the foundation.
The Escarpment Company Landscaping Services in Milton ON. Aside from sump pumps pushing water towards the foundation of the house due to the eroding grade, sitting sump pump water forces some homeowners to keep their windows closed all summer due to the smell of the sitting water as it begins to break down and decompose organic matter, turning your yard into a large composter. There is a reason it stinks when you pass the Halton Waste Managment facility on Bronte Rd across from Rattlesnake Point Golf Club.
We have the experience and knowledge to provide proven solutions for these Sump Pump drainage issues in Milton Ontario Canada. There are many quality builders in Milton constructing excellent homes. Everyone is working together to bring solutions to help us manage our stormwater and acheive a 'Greener' community.

Unilock Authorized Contractors Meeting in Burlington ON, Feb 1 2011
I attended a seminar today from my supplier Unilock. Technical and Product representatives updated us on the latest trends in the market place when it comes to contemporary design. I was very impressed with some of the features and benefits of the new architectural pavers available from Unilock. I look forward to presenting these new offerings to my clients and community in 2011.
Stay tuned,
Mark
